Into the Wardrobe; the Lion’s Roar
- Going inside the wardrobe of Self to do some inner exploration and finding an internal war between the Lion Heart & White Witch
“Into the Wardrobe we go.
I wonder what we will find?
Betrayal?
shards of Ice?
and weakness lives there too.
Where the bad wolves
run rampant with fear,
plaguing the good
creatures who live there.
You travel deeper still,
Past her snow capped mountains
to find an ivory tower;
the petrified stone frozen,
their drowned faces trapped in anguish
Pleading for the sun.
In this stony garden,
No warmth survives here.
Only fear.
Only pain.
Only control in this hell-scape
For all magic is Hers
This Queen of Ice;
A creature formed
of Malice and Vice.
She was once very beautiful they say,
Kind and compassionate and full of grace.
Now she is much more like a Dorian Grey.
More More & More Ice.
Too much. Too much. Too much Ice. Ice.
A Hoard; a collection of the forlorn.
So Tell me, how do we slay the Ice Queen when her terrible reign has frozen the land almost entirely?
When Hope is blown out with a hiss and only faint embers there exist?
Where Faith is all but broken,
spare one rib, almost beyond repair? What then when Will’s back is broken?
The spine gone haywire.
When Faith and Hope and Will are lost and only sharp shards line the fragile heart?
“Do not fear,”
says a whisper on the wind.
But from where did that soft voice Spring?
And then that soft voice simply said,
“Love, and the Courage to Love.”
“Love her. Love her.
She needs to be loved.
Listen. Listen. She needs to be heard.
So love her and listen
so that She may be
understood.”
And this is what the Angel said,
“Courage, Courage, Courage.
Tu peux le faire. Tu peux le faire. Tu peux le faire.
Je croix en toi.
Fort de la jambe et lèger du pied. Je croix en toi.
Vif d'esprit et âme enflamée. Je croix en toi.
Courage. Courage. Courage."
For we are all warriors of light
But it is You
who must Choose
to answer The Call
when you hear
The Lion’s Roar.”
